Join a dedicated inpatient facility as a General Surgeon, providing locum tenens coverage for a busy and robust practice. This role requires a skilled surgical professional who can manage a variety of cases with surgical excellence in a Level 3 trauma environment. The role features both regular daytime hours and on-call night shifts, with orientation beginning in November.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care for adult patients, including trauma cases.
• Perform required surgical procedures, such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Manage shifts comprising 8 hours of inpatient care followed by night calls.
• Collaborate with outpatient surgeons for non-urgent cases.

Qualifications

• Active medical license, IMLC eligible
• Board Certified in General Surgery
• ATLS certification required
• Experience in a Level 3 trauma center preferred

Working Hours

• 8-hour shifts during the day with night availability for calls
• Required minimum of 2 weeks per month for ongoing engagement
