Job Responsibilities

  • Provide orthopedic care with coverage of the ER at a Level II Trauma Center
  • Handle a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues
  • Collaborate with dedicated PA support
  • Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-ups three mornings per week

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
  • 5 years of Level II experience required
  • WA state license highly preferred or IMLC with LOQ
  • BLS and DEA required; candidates can complete these certifications after offer acceptance

Working Hours

  • Nights, with occasional call coverage
  • 24/7 coverage during the assigned two weeks per month

Skills

  • Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
  • Ability to manage a varying caseload, from 0-7 admissions/patients per day
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with hospital support and MA in outpatient clinic
