Job Responsibilities
– Provide inpatient obstetric care and handle deliveries, including high-risk cases.
– Interpret fetal heart rate patterns accurately.
– Perform and manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-section deliveries.
– Conduct surgical gynecology procedures as required.

Qualifications
– Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
– Active medical license or eligibility through IMLC.
– DEA certification required.
– BLS certification required.
– Experience with high-risk pregnancies is preferred.

Working Hours
– 48-hour shifts over weekends, primarily requiring consistent 24-hour onsite coverage.

Skills
– Proficiency in managing low and high-risk pregnancies.
– Adept in decision-making for complex deliveries, including multiple births and breech presentations.
– Ability to perform necessary surgical procedures such as C-sections, forceps deliveries, and repair of lacerations.
– Experience with laparoscopic surgical techniques preferred.
