Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urology care including seeing patients in the clinic, rounding, and performing surgeries.
- Take hospital calls during clinic hours and manage patient caseload effectively.
- Perform procedures such as cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, TURP, and more.
- Work in collaboration with the hospitalist team and support staff.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active WA license or eligibility for licensing
- BLS, DEA (ACLS preferred but not mandatory if willing to obtain)
- Experience in fast-paced environments preferred
Working Hours
- Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (selected shifts)
- 24-hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- On Call: 5–6 days/month including weekends
Skills
- Proficiency in general urology procedures; robotic surgery experience is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
