A fantastic opportunity awaits a skilled Urologist at a dynamic medical facility. We are seeking a professional to cover a variety of general urology cases effectively, both in clinics and on call, for a 3–6 month locum tenens assignment. This role allows you to be the sole provider in a fast-paced department with a robotic system on-site for surgeries if needed. Engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from general procedures to robotic-assisted surgeries, under a flexible schedule.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urologic care in a clinical and hospital setting
  • Perform procedures such as cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, and more
  • Manage both inpatient and outpatient services
  • Conduct patient consultations, diagnostics, and management plans
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
  • Active WA license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
  • Valid ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Night call coverage: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • 24-hour call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
  • Call rotations: 5-6 days per month

Skills

  • Proficiency in common urology procedures including robotic-assisted surgeries
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage urologic conditions
  • Skilled in patient and team communication
  • Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic
