Job Responsibilities
- Perform urologic oncology surgeries and procedures
- Run outpatient clinics and provide comprehensive patient care
- Manage bladder instillation therapy
- Participate in call rotations
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Surgery with specialization in Urological Oncology
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Fellowship in Urology with a focus on Oncology preferred
- Ability to handle a patient load of 20 per shift
Working Hours
- Shifts will be on a rotating basis, typically aligning with hospital needs and physician availability
Skills
- Proficient in laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
- Preferred skills include ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
- Experience with vascular access devices, peripheral vascular procedures, and AV shunt placement preferred
