We are seeking an experienced Locum Tenens OB/GYN physician to join a collaborative team at a well-established hospital in Richmond, VA. This role entails both outpatient office work and hospital care for OB/GYN patients, with an emphasis on low-risk pregnancies. You will work alongside a team of skilled physicians and midwives, providing high-quality patient care. The assignment begins May 1, 2026, and continues through August 31, 2026.

Job Responsibilities
– Manage a diverse range of OB/GYN cases focusing on low-risk pregnancies
– Perform gynecological surgeries as needed
– Provide comprehensive care for obstetrics including routine deliveries, C-sections, and managing complications
– Conduct ultrasounds and various gynecological procedures

Qualifications
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
– Active Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain)
– Must be local; only mileage is reimbursed
– BLS/ACLS certified
– Self-query NPDB report required

Working Hours
– Office schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
– Call schedule: 24-hour on-call, included within regular weekday office time

Skills
– Expertise in low to high-risk pregnancy management
– Proficient in OB ultrasounds and various gynecological procedures
– Strong decision-making skills for labor and delivery, including VBACs and complex cases
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
