Job Responsibilities
- Perform general and specialized surgical procedures including laparoscopic surgery, head/neck surgeries, chest wall procedures, breast surgeries, and vascular surgeries.
- Manage adult and pediatric patients requiring surgical interventions and over 24 beds within the department.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Extensive experience in required specialty skills
- Fellowship completion of at least three years
- Experience in both adult and pediatric surgeries
Working Hours
- Thursday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Coverage required on specified weeks
Skills
- Proficiency in appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernioplasties, and various endoscopic procedures.
- Ability to manage ventilation and perform critical care procedures such as central line and chest tube insertions.
- Expertise in pediatric surgical techniques, including correction of congenital anomalies.
