Job Responsibilities
– Provide routine newborn care in the nursery
– Participate in high-risk deliveries, including neonatal resuscitation when needed
– Manage common newborn conditions such as jaundice, feeding issues, and hypoglycemia
– Stabilize newborns for NICU transfers
– Offer backup and consult support for pediatric emergencies in the Emergency Department
– Participate in pediatric codes

Qualifications
– Active Vermont medical license required
– Pediatric specialist with experience in a hospital setting

Working Hours
– Primary coverage on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
– Weekend coverage one in four weekends, potentially extending from Thursday to Monday
