Job Responsibilities
- Analyze, examine, and investigate patients' medical histories for signs of hormonal imbalances.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Discuss diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventative measures with patients.
- Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Support patients with complex endocrine conditions.
- Perform research and studies on the endocrine system to develop new treatment techniques.
- Remain updated on current trends and discoveries in endocrinology.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Board Certified or Eligible in Endocrinology
- Skilled in managing Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes patients, including insulin pump management
- Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills
- Proficient with computers and medical equipment
