Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting.
• Manage 6-8 patients during the day, with ongoing care responsibilities including night call.
• Share in-house night call responsibilities, overseeing assigned and new admissions.
• Implement and perform specialty procedures such as arterial line placement, central venous line placement, chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, and PICC placement.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in NP or PA on a PICU or Critical Care team.
• NPR certification required, licensure candidacy will be considered.
• Experience with EMR systems, such as Epic, is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Variable schedule including 12-hour shifts (day and night), with shared weekend and holiday coverage.
