Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hospitalist care, including preferred adult and pediatric procedures.
- Manage inpatient care and perform procedures such as intubation, ventilation management, and line placements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize available support services like anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, and radiology.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or related field.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Proficiency in preferred hospitalist procedures for adults and pediatrics.
Working Hours
- Days: 8 hours onsite, with remaining call assignments.
- Call Backs: Rare occurrence.
Skills
- Strong competence in ventilator management and line placements.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in pediatric and adult inpatient care, including ICU involvement.
- Skilled in EKG interpretation and echocardiogram assessments.
