Board Certified/Board Eligible candidates are needed for a position in the Critical Care Unit. Both Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are welcome to apply.
Schedule Overview:
– Ideal candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week block.
– Coverage includes variable days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
– Weekend, night, and holiday work is shared equally among all team members.
– Current shifts include:
– 10-hour evenings (1300-2300)
– 12-hour days/nights (0700-1900, 1900-0700)
Required Skills and Procedures:
– Arterial line placement
– Central Venous Line Placement
– Chest Tube Placement
– Endotracheal Intubation
– Lumbar Puncture
– PICC Placement
Call Responsibilities:
– In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members after completing orientation.
Patient Load:
– PICU: Manage 4-6 patients during the day; night call includes all assigned patients and new admissions.

Interview and Credentialing:
– A 30-minute virtual interview will be conducted.
– Credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
Certifications:
– Candidates must have BLS, PALS, and NPR certification.
– Open to candidates with various licensures.
Other Information:
– Initial contract offerings are typically 13 weeks, with possible extensions up to 26 weeks on a case-by-case basis.
