We are seeking a Physician Assistant for a traveler position to First Assist in Cardiac Surgery. The position is for an initial 13-week period with a potential for continued engagement. The role offers a flexible schedule, with 12-hour day or night shifts available across seven days a week. A minimum of 8-10 shifts per month is expected, with an optional on-call duty.

Requirements:

• Active TN license or willingness to apply for one
• Active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
• At least 3-5 years of experience
• SFA Certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Proficiency in Endoscopic vein harvesting with Hemopro and Maquet systems is a must
• Preferred experience with heart transplants
• Experience with heart surgeries such as ECHMO, Aortic valve, valve replacements, TAVRs, LVAD placements

The successful candidate will work alongside surgeons, assisting in the operating room with various procedures. The patient population is adult.
