Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate drug supply and oversee procurement processes
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in compliance with state laws
  • Conduct monthly inspections of pharmacy and patient care units
  • Provide educational programs and trainings for pharmacy staff
  • Execute medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists
  • Participate in quality assurance programs related to drug use

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements for state licensure
  • Current state licensure as a pharmacist
  • BLS certification if required by state
  • EPIC experience
  • Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Strong communication skills for effective patient and professional interactions
  • Clinical knowledge in antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacokinetic dosing
  • Competence in anticoagulation dosing management and monitoring
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety policies
