Job Responsibilities
- Perform order entry and verification, medication checking, and dispensing to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Rotate into ambulatory roles such as anticoagulation clinic services or oncology as determined by management.
- Engage in patient care activities, supporting a wide variety of patient populations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.
- Recent hospital experience preferred; pharmacy residency experience desired if rotating to ambulatory roles.
- Advanced practice certifications are a plus.
- Current license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification required if rotating to the Anticoagulation Clinic.
