A unique opportunity awaits a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a reputable hospital in Yakima, WA. This locum tenens position involves a full-time schedule with 3 or 4 days of 12-hour shifts from Friday through Monday, including weekend work. You will be part of a medically supervised care team model, supporting a diverse case mix across various departments, ensuring an engaging and multifaceted work experience.

Job Responsibilities
– Deliver anesthesia care within a care team model across various surgical specialties
– Manage anesthesia in 7 ORs within the main Surgery department, as well as additional ORs, treatment rooms, and labs
– Perform anesthesia for ENT, general surgery, GI endoscopy, GYN, orthopedics, OB, urology, and other procedures
– Support anesthetic needs for robotic procedures and vascular surgery

Qualifications
– Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
– Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
– Experience in general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
– Ability to perform anesthesia in various age groups

Working Hours
– 12-hour shifts
– Friday–Monday, including both Saturday and Sunday

Skills
– Proficiency in adult and pediatric anesthesia
– Experience with spinal and epidural anesthesia
– Preferred skills in regional anesthesia and thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
– Ability to manage complex orthopedic cases and pain management techniques
– Competence in post-op epidural and extremity blocks
– Skills in central and arterial line placement, ventilation management, and acute volume/BP issues
