Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care, including but not limited to arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and tendon repairs.
- Participate in call rotations as scheduled.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Active PA medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Recent experience with at least 100 general orthopedic procedures within the past 12 months
Working Hours
- Scheduled shifts during call coverage days
Skills
- Proficient in arthroscopy and total joint replacement
- Experience with hip, knee, and shoulder joint revision or repair
- Skilled in tendon release/repair and peripheral nerve surgery
- Competency in procedures with and without instrumentation in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions preferred
