Job Responsibilities
– Manage NICU rounds and participate in high-risk deliveries.
– Provide outpatient care with clinics scheduled every Thursday.
– Be on-call 24/7 during assigned service weeks with 20-minute response time.
– Use Epic EMR for patient documentation and communication.
Qualifications
– Board certification required.
– Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
– Preferred expertise in various neonatal and pediatric procedures and technologies, including non-invasive ventilation, intubation, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Working Hours
– Typical in-house hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
– On-call duties involve availability via pager and phone with a 20-minute response requirement.
Skills
– Expertise in neonatal care, including NICU levels II/III management.
– Proficiency in procedural skills such as intubation, ventilation management, and central line placements.
– Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills relevant to neonatal-perinatal medicine.
