Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct outpatient clinic hours, with possible travel to nearby Somerset office
  • Perform daily hospital consults/rounds during assigned weeks
  • Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Provide after-hours consults for critical values or urgent patient matters

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist
  • Active PA license
  • Completion of Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Recognition training in Pennsylvania
  • Completion of Pain Management and Opioid Prescribing Practice education in Pennsylvania

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Weekend rounds as assigned (4 hours/day)
  • On-call duties for critical values or urgent patient issues, with no requirement to return in person

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population and oversee a team of APPs
  • Proficiency in providing comprehensive care across the cancer treatment spectrum
