Job Responsibilities
– Provide on-call inpatient consults and perform general GI procedures.
– Conduct necessary Upper and Lower GI endoscopy procedures including biopsies and foreign body removals.
– Manage and interpret esophageal manometry as well as perform esophageal dilatation.
– Preferred skills in ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound are advantageous.

Qualifications
– Current active PA medical license.
– Board Certified/Board Eligible within five years of residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology.
– Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology.
– Must have BLS certification.

Working Hours
– Varied shifts for on-call coverage from December 21 at 5:00 PM to December 23 at 4:00 PM.

Skills
– Expertise in Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
– Proficiency in GI procedures involving biopsy and excision.
– Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills preferred, especially in ERCP and liver biopsy procedures.
– Excellent patient management skills in a Level 1 trauma facility setting.
