Job Responsibilities

• Perform general GI procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, and colonoscopies.
• Provide 5-10 inpatient consults per day while on call.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient care.

Qualifications

• Current active Pennsylvania license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency in Gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
• BLS certified

Working Hours

• Varied schedule, with on-call duties from October 27-31

Skills

• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures, including biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder
• Experience with therapeutic and diagnostic ERCP preferred
• Ability to perform esophageal manometry interpretation and manage small bowel and liver biopsies
• Skilled in patient diagnosis and management for GI-related conditions
