Job Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, primarily serving in an OR first assist capacity.
- Allocate time for ICU floor coverage when necessary.
- Handle night and weekend call duties from home, attending critical patient care needs.
- Utilize Marquet equipment and navigate the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.
- Perform endovascular harvesting (EVH) as required.
Qualifications
- Board Certification Eligible
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Marquet equipment is preferred
- Fellowship in a related specialty is beneficial
Working Hours
- Regular Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Call Shifts: Nights 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM; Weekend call from Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
