This full-time locum tenens position offers a blend of OR first assist duties along with some ICU floor time. The schedule includes scheduled clinic hours from Monday to Friday, with a call every five weekends, allowing for a balanced professional experience. Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, primarily serving in an OR first assist capacity.
  • Allocate time for ICU floor coverage when necessary.
  • Handle night and weekend call duties from home, attending critical patient care needs.
  • Utilize Marquet equipment and navigate the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.
  • Perform endovascular harvesting (EVH) as required.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification Eligible
  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience with Cerner EMR and Marquet equipment is preferred
  • Fellowship in a related specialty is beneficial

Working Hours

  • Regular Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Call Shifts: Nights 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM; Weekend call from Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
