Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists have an exciting opportunity for a locum tenens assignment with a varied schedule that includes clinic hours and operating room days in a hospital and clinic setting. Candidates will perform general ENT procedures and provide specialist care for all ages. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with experienced medical assistants and clinical support staff.

  • Schedule: 7 clinic days and 5 operating room days per month; Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; 24-hour call from December 23–29
  • Patient Population: All ages
  • Location: Ephrata, PA

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide general ENT care, including performing surgeries and managing clinic patients
  • Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical support staff for high-quality patient care
  • Engage in special procedures such as parathyroid and cochlear (Baha) surgeries (preferred)
  • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in ENT
  • Hold a valid PA license or be eligible for IMLC
  • DEA certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience

Working Hours

  • Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with 30-minute lunch
  • Operating Room: As scheduled; typically 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM
  • 24-hour call from December 23rd to 29th

Skills

  • Strong diagnostic and surgical abilities within the scope of ENT
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability across hospital and outpatient settings
