  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; 1 week/month call rotation including weekends and nights
  • Patient Population: Adult; primarily oncology (2/3) with hematology (1/3), average of 15 patients/day
  • Location: Chambersburg, PA

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult oncology and hematology patients
  • Manage clinic consultations, approximately 2 new patients/day
  • Perform hospital consultations as needed, primarily during clinic hours
  • Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team including a nurse practitioner and virtual hematologist
  • Participate in tumor board discussions and radiation oncology coordination

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Hematology Oncology preferred
  • Fellowship in relevant specialty required
  • Licensing in Pennsylvania preferred; willing to consider IMLC
  • Open to considering both experienced and less experienced providers

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Call schedule: One week per month, including night and weekend coverage
  • Minimum coverage required is 3 days/week; full-time ongoing availability preferred

Skills

  • Proficiency in managing complex oncology and hematology cases
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with hospital and clinic staff
  • Familiarity with the Nuance dictation system for documentation
