Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and oversight of clinical care for Radiation Oncology patients.
- Collaborate with Hershey Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center in weekly new case reviews.
- Ensure quality patient encounters with a focus on advanced radiation therapy techniques.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency in Cerner and ARIA EMR systems is preferred
- Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques and clinical trials
Working Hours
- December 22-26 (closed on Dec. 25th)
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break (clock in and out)
Skills
- Expertise in External Beam Therapy (EBRT) and advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
- Proficiency in treatment planning, beam shaping, and image fusion technologies
- Ability to manage 20 patient encounters per shift
- Skilled in the use of Linear Accelerators, Tomotherapy, and Gamma/Cyber knife systems
