Job Responsibilities
– Conduct evaluations, medication management, and therapy for psychiatric patients aged 5-23 in outpatient and 7-18 in partial hospitalization settings
– Provide inpatient coverage for a 10-bed unit during assigned periods
– Perform new evaluations, follow-up care, and discharge planning
Qualifications
– Active Pennsylvania medical license
– Board Eligible/Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
– Recent experience in treatment of children/adolescents
– Experience with medication management, including controlled substances
– BLS certification required
Working Hours
– Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week with an optional 4 hours additional outpatient for a total of 40 hours
– Inpatient coverage as needed
Skills
– Expertise in treating anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
– Proficiency with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint applications
– Experience in pharmacotherapy, group and family therapy, and ECT
