Job Responsibilities

• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients.
• Monitor patient therapy for drug interactions and contraindications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid pharmacist license.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is not required.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40-hour work guarantee per week

Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and dosing.
• Proficient in the use of pharmacy information systems, specifically Cerner PowerChart.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
