Job Responsibilities
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including routine and complicated deliveries such as C-sections and VBACs
- Handle gynecological surgical procedures including laparoscopic diagnostics
- Provide emergency gynecology care for unassigned patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CNMs
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician
- Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required
- Self-query NPDB report required within 30 days of application
Working Hours
- Primary hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- On-call support: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for midwife coverage
Skills
- Proficiency in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies
- Skilled in a variety of obstetrics procedures including routine delivery and surgical interventions
