Job Description

Join a dynamic surgical team in an inpatient setting as a Physician Assistant. This role involves providing patient care within office hours, post-op floors, and ICU settings across several locations. Anticipate autonomy in managing patients with support from a supervising physician. The schedule includes regular weekday hours and on-call duties, offering a mix of consistent weekday work and some weekend coverage.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform suture removal
• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Order and interpret tests
• Write prescriptions
• Coordinate patient care and perform pre-op physical exams
• Round on patients daily

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification required
• Active OH license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must have a 100% clean background and relevant training and experience

Working Hours

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call rotation: 10 days per month
• Two weekends per month

Skills

• Proficient in the use of EPIC EMR
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
