Engage in meaningful clinical care within both an outpatient and inpatient setting, supporting patient recovery on the inpatient post-op floor and ICU. The role requires autonomous working ability with support from a supervising physician. Enjoy a balanced schedule with call duties encompassing 10 days per month, including two weekends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Suture removal and assessment of post-operative patients
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses in the cardiac surgery patient population
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Write prescriptions and manage medications
  • Coordination of care involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Perform pre-operative physical exams and routine rounding in an ICU setting

Qualifications

  • ANCC or AANP certification required
  • Active OH license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Training and experience in cardiac surgery
  • Providers must have a 100% clean background, with no exceptions

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • On-call responsibilities include 10 days per month and cover two weekends

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
