Job Responsibilities

• Suturing minor lacerations
• Responding to Emergency Department for Trauma Alerts
• Providing surgical consultations and ER admissions
• Facilitating discharges
• Participating in house codes and Rapid Response Team
• Completing FAST exams at the bedside
• Reporting off to oncoming Advanced Practice Providers
• Covering general surgery from 5 PM – 7 AM on weekdays and for full 24 hours on weekends

Qualifications

• Board Certified (NCCPA)
• Active Ohio license and DEA
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Certified
• Experience in trauma required (new graduates will not be accepted)

Working Hours

• Varied shifts as per the provided schedule in July and August
