Job Responsibilities
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births and C-sections.
- Interpret and perform OB ultrasounds and fetal heart rate tests.
- Engage in decision-making for C-sections when necessary.
- Respond promptly to on-call duties and be within a 30-minute radius during on-call times.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- BLS and ACLS certified
- Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Ohio state license required
- Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred
- Experience with at least 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, including 5 C-sections
Working Hours
- On-call coverage from 7:00 AM on May 14, 2026, through 7:00 AM on May 15, 2026
- 1:4 call rotation including weekends
Skills
- Proficiency in routine and complex obstetric procedures
- Ability to interpret and perform various OB ultrasound procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Critical decision-making in high-pressure situations
- Competence in the use of Meditech Expanse EMR for patient documentation and management
