Job Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient cardiology services, including rounding and managing patient care with collaboration from nurse practitioners.
- Participate in cardiovascular testing and consultations as needed.
- Conduct echocardiography, TEE, STEMI management, and nuclear cardiology.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiology required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- 3 years of fellowship training in Cardiology
Working Hours
- Daily shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend calls
Skills
- Proficient in inpatient cardiology, including ICU management and non-invasive cardiology procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
- Adept at managing 15-20 patient encounters per shift with high-quality care and efficiency.
