Summary:
Walk-In Clinic Nurse Practitioner needed for a primary care/family care traveling position.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- Monday-Friday, 0700-1900
- Three 12-hour shifts per week

Duties:
- Perform physical exams within established protocol
- Diagnose and treat within protocol guidelines
- Order diagnostic tests
- Prescribe or recommend medications and treatment within protocol guidelines
- Promote positive lifestyle habits to patients through education and counseling
- Perform minor procedures as necessary within protocol guidelines
- Complete documentation within 24 hours
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Make follow-up calls to check patient progress
- Work closely with nurses to ensure efficient patient flow
- Consult with colleagues regarding patient symptoms for proper diagnosis and treatment plan
- Perform other duties as assigned

Support Staff:
- Primary Care Providers, Triage nurse(s), 1 nurse per provider, CNA

Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active license or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship
- BLS, DEA
- Clean Malpractice Record
Travel Preferences:
- N/A
Credentialing Information:
- Timeframe: 30 days
- No credentialing with other facilities required

- Acute illness visits such as cough, cold, minor injuries, STD testing, UTI, rashes, etc.
Patients per Day:
- Varies, up to 40 depending on complexity
Certifications:
