Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterological care, including procedures such as upper and lower GI endoscopy and ERCP.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient consultations.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to maintain continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- BLS certification required
- Experience in internal medicine with specialty skills in Gastroenterology
Working Hours
- Flexible scheduling with options for 24-hour call, clinic hours, or a combination
- Must be willing to cover both hospitals while on call
Skills
- Proficient in GI procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP
- Ability to perform esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpret esophageal manometry
- Preferred skills in endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with a diverse patient population
