Join a dynamic outpatient clinic in Hickory, NC, as a locum tenens gastroenterologist, where you'll deliver critical and routine GI care services in a supportive environment. This role offers a varied schedule including onsite coverage from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with call coverage during off hours, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. Job Responsibilities

• Provide endoscopic procedures, manage gastrointestinal bleeding, and address postoperative complications.
• Collaborate with other medical teams to provide consultations for GI conditions.
• Act as call support during specified hours, managing urgent needs requiring GI intervention.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Hold BLS certification.
• Proficiency in conducting various GI procedures such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), colonoscopy, and liver biopsies is preferred.

Working Hours

• Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call coverage: Weekdays 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM, Weekends from Saturday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM
