Job Responsibilities
- Round on patients and be available for on-call emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
- Provide care for any emergent GYN procedures.
- Manage high risk deliveries emergently, with transfers to nearby facilities for NICU needs.
- Perform and assist with routine, complicated deliveries and necessary surgeries.
- Collaborate with hospitalist support staff and 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support.
Qualifications
- Must have an active NC license and NC DEA.
- Providers must have NC Medicaid Credential and be enrolled with PECOS.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Fully vaccinated and actively delivering babies.
Working Hours
- 24-hour call schedule from Monday, March 23rd to Friday, March 27th.
Skills
- Expertise in low and high risk pregnancies, with skills in FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds.
- Proficiency in routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, and multiple births.
- Competent in office/minor gynecology procedures and surgical gynecology.
- Laser certification required.
Providers will have access to on-site housing and must be within a 20-minute response time per hospital bylaws. Please ensure to meet all qualifications and provide necessary documentation upon submission.
