Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Adjust and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Position patients accurately to obtain clear and precise images.
• Follow safety protocols regarding radiation exposure to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area.
• Provide assistance to patients who may have mobility issues or require extra care.

Requirements

• Certification in Radiologic Technology.
• Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Continual commitment to learning and staying updated with advances in radiology practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a hospital or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with imaging software and electronic health records.
