Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and collaborate with RNs and other ancillary staff in the NICU
- Attend C-sections and manage well-baby problems during night shifts
- Perform Level III NICU neonatal procedures including ventilation management, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion
- Provide care for an average of 8-9 patients per shift
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Neonatology or as an experienced NICU PA
- Active New York License
- Ability to manage patients independently
Working Hours
- Weekend shifts with 12- and/or 24-hour coverage
Skills
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform invasive neonatal procedures and manage acute neonatal issues effectively
- Experience in a NICU setting with the comfort to make independent decisions
