Job Responsibilities
- Manage pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgical patients
- Handle high-risk cases including single ventricle physiology and open chest management
- Provide arrhythmia management, vasopressor support, and ECMO/CRRT care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a critical care setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing
- Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
- Certifications: BLS from AHA, PALS from ABA
Working Hours
- Varied schedule including rotating shifts (day/night), on-call, holidays, and weekends
