Job Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by performing duties such as cauterizing, positioning patients, suturing, and hemostasis
- Cover surgical floors, including patient rounding, progress notes, managing orders, discharges, and consults
- Work primarily within General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic departments
Qualifications
- New York State License
- Board Certified
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience
Working Hours
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call Shifts: Night and weekend availability required
Skills
- Proficient in EPIC charting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with acutely ill adult patients
