Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operative assessments to ascertain patients' medical history and allergies.
- Develop anesthesia care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetics as necessary during surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Manage and treat anesthesia-related complications or emergencies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide post-operative care and pain management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.
- Advanced knowledge in administering various anesthetic agents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient interaction.
- Ability to make fast decisions and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Documented experience in anesthesiology across a range of surgeries and patient demographics.
Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered state medical license.
- Certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proven competency in regional and general anesthesia techniques.
- Willingness to adapt to different clinical environments.
