A great opportunity is available for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team in a rural setting. This role requires an independent and adaptable individual to support a facility with diverse departments such as ICU, labor and delivery, medical/surgical, and emergency. The position offers a mix of weekday and rotating weekend shifts, providing a balanced work schedule.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM; every 3rd weekend (Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
  • Patient Population: All Ages
  • Location: Berlin, NH

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to various departments, including ICU, labor and delivery, medical/surgical, and emergency.
  • Work independently, especially during weekends.
  • Utilize Meditech for processing and maintaining medication orders.
  • Support medication management and optimization for inpatient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of current hospital experience.
  • Previous critical access hospital and travel experience preferred.
  • Experience with Meditech and Omnicell highly preferred.
  • Active New Hampshire State Pharmacist License (can apply at time of offer).
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.

Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday: 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
  • Every 3rd weekend: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Skills

  • Strong independent working ability, particularly over weekends.
  • Familiarity with hospital operations and medication management systems.
  • Proficiency in use of Meditech and Omnicell systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
