Job Responsibilities
– Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, biopsy, and ERCP.
– Manage acute GI cases, including bleeding and variceal banding.
– Conduct hospital rounds, providing consultation on inpatient GI cases.

Qualifications
– Board Certified in Gastroenterology
– State License (Pending license accepted; IMLC eligible)
– BLS and DEA certification required
– Clean malpractice history preferred
– Experience in general GI preferred; ERCP certification highly preferred

Working Hours
– 24-hour call shifts, with 8 hours of in-house rounding daily

Skills
– Proficient in executing GI procedures and managing acute GI conditions
– Competence with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
– Ability to work effectively in a solo role and collaborate with hospital support staff
