Join a dynamic urgent care setting as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner, providing high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients. This role involves working in the urgent care centers in Fayetteville, NC, with possible coverage in Lumberton. As a sole healthcare provider, you'll handle a high volume of cases, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care while utilizing your experience and EPIC proficiency.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric (6 months and up)
  • Location: Fayetteville, NC
  • Stipends: Limited mileage reimbursement available (60 miles total/roundtrip)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide urgent care services to both adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform minor procedures like laceration repairs and ear irrigation
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and documentation
  • Maintain a positive, patient-focused attitude and collaborate effectively with support staff

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 12 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a similar setting
  • Active NC license and active NC DEA are required
  • Board Certification and BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR system

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no call requirements
  • Must participate in mandatory Wednesday training sessions
