Job Responsibilities
- Provide emergency OB/GYN care with a focus on gynecological procedures.
- Respond to pager calls promptly during scheduled shifts.
- Conduct 1-2 patient encounters per shift as needed in emergent situations.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in OB/GYN is required.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to handle emergent GYN cases confidently.
Working Hours
- One week per month of 24-hour call shifts, from Sunday AM to Sunday AM.
Skills
- Expertise in laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, including tubal ligation and lysis of adhesions.
- Experience with major operative procedures such as ectopic pregnancy handling, ovary removal, and cystectomy.
