Job Responsibilities
– Conduct eye exams: Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
– Diagnose and treat conditions: Identify and manage ocular diseases and disorders, such as glaucoma and cataracts.
– Prescribe corrective lenses: Provide prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses based on individual patient needs.
– Patient education: Educate patients about eye health, vision correction options, and preventive care.
– Pre- and post-operative care: Offer care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, including follow-up assessments.
– Maintain patient records: Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately.

Qualifications
– Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
– Licensure: Valid state license to practice optometry.
– Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Working Hours
– Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
