Job Responsibilities
– Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
– Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and disorders, such as glaucoma and cataracts.
– Provide prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses based on individual patient needs.
– Educate patients about eye health, vision correction options, and preventive care.
– Offer pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
– Maintain accurate patient records, documenting interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Qualifications
– Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
– Valid state license to practice optometry.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
– Strong analytical skills to accurately diagnose and treat vision problems.
– Ability to provide compassionate care and build rapport with patients of all ages.
