Job Responsibilities
– Provide comprehensive inpatient management for cardiac surgery patients in the stepdown unit
– Perform essential APP procedures, including removal of chest tubes and pacing wires
– Collaborate with the cardiac surgical team and hospitalist team for patient care
– Conduct daily assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning
Qualifications
– Must be a board-certified NP/PA with a minimum of 2 years' experience
– Proficient in comprehensive management of cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repair and replacement, and aortic surgery
– Hold valid state licenses with BLS and ACLS certifications
– Experience in Trauma Level I is required
Working Hours
– Scheduled 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
– No call requirements
