Join an esteemed trauma care team in Minnesota as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care. This is a locum tenens position within a Level I Trauma Center that caters to both adults and pediatrics. You will primarily function as a trauma hospitalist rounder with some responsibilities in the Emergency Department. This role offers flexible scheduling with a primary focus on trauma care within the hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the trauma hospitalist rounder and respond to ED for trauma alerts.
- Conduct procedures such as non-invasive vent management, ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line, arterial line, and suturing minor lacerations.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and daily rounds without hospitalist assistance.
- Work autonomously with supervision available from a staffed Trauma Surgeon.
Qualifications
- Board Certified (ACNP, AGNP, PA-C)
- Valid Minnesota License at time of submission
- ATLS, PALS, ACLS certifications
- DEA certification
- Minimum 1 year of practice as an APP in an inpatient setting, ideally with trauma, ICU, or orthopedics experience
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required

- No on-call duties
